Life is without meaning?
Tell that to the child that was saved from death or the astronaut that get's the priveledge to explore outterspace.
There is meaning in life all around your just have to take the time to see it. The flower that grow's from a seed, the child with no arm's and leg's that prospers to becoming a wrestling champion. Every life is different BUT none are without meaning. You just have to take the time to find YOUR meaning in life.
As far as putting up with whatever comes. Come on now, nobody does that for real. Life is a serie's of adventures and the greatest thing of all is that we get to choose which one to take.
If we were truly a species that just "put up with whatever comes" then why do we fight so bad to live? Why not just take the inevitable plunge and let go? Because there is meaning.
Who know's who will live and who will die? Do all of us know the difference between right and wrong? The meaning behind life is different for each one of us. Take the time to find your meaning and then trust me you wont complain that we put up with whatever comes.

we are not living without meaning. Don't let not knowing the meaning stop you from living. You question sounds like "Why do we bother?". Some people live to raise children and give them better lives so that they can do the same. Others may want to make the world a better place...others dont attempt to find their meaning...our life has meaning everyday! :D

What is your option? Either find themeaning in your life, learn to control "what comes" or stop living this life...
I do not live a live without happiness. It is possible. I don't put up with what comes; i have some control over many parts of my life.

Not everyone lives a life without meaning. If yours is that way, maybe change is in order. Even without faith and spirituality your life can be rich with meaning. It's your choice to act or sit still.

How can you say we are living without meaning?
When did you discover this 'fact'?

The meaning of life was to fellowship with God (live with God for eternity) but since Adam and Eve sinned before God, we were separated from our purpose. But God gave up his only son that we could have a second chance.
You probably would criticize me, but really, think about it.

i don't do anything to "whatever comes", does that count as putting up with it? I don't ask why I'm living, and I agree that life is meaningless, but life is fun.

I guess it's human nature. For most of us, our faith in life is very general so believing that there exists a meaning is enough to live on.

I am just enjoying the ride , letting it flow, breathing easy, whatever comes will come, if its GOING to happen, it will occur, I have no valid claim to what is uknown, nor does any human living. so peace and let it be.
