I really don't know what you are asking. Are you asking if I believe Christ will reign and rule for 1,000 years? If that is the question than I will say NO>... I truly believe Christ along with the believers will rule for eternity....

Now revelations does speak of satan ruling for 1,000 years but 1,000 is like a day to the Lord... So to take it literally is not possible....It is a lot of metaphors and parrables in the Bible... but you have to rightly divide the word of truth,,,and also ask God to give you revelation of what you are asking

there shall be a new Jerusalem built in Jackson county, Missouri. he shall reign for a millennium or 1000 years. in this time, all the people left will be the righteous, and they shall do the temple work for everyone that has and is on the earth. so they will be sealed with there families for all eternity. after this reign for 1000 years then Satan will be loosed again and he will have a short season to build his army. and there shall be a war between good and evil. this war is to test the faithfulness of the people who were born in the millennium. and then Satan will be bound for ever and all eternity. also in the time called the millennium, there will be no sickness or pain. and you will be resurrected in the blink of an eye.also to answer trvsphil's question. The earth will be turned into our celestrial kingdom, if you are worthy. and Jesus Christ will rule over the kingdom in lesser glory which is named Terestrial Kingdom. Than the Holy Ghost will gain a body during this 1000 years and he will reign over the lesser kingdom called The Telestrial Kingdom. The only place lower than this kingdom is outer darkness(hell) which is ruled by the serpent himself.

Well, doesn't the Bible speak about the end of the world? Yes, Matthew 13:39, 40,49, Matthew 24:3, Matthew 28:20 and Hebrews 9:26, but any Greek Orthodox teacher in their catechism will tell you that is not the end of the world. It is the end of the age of grace before we go into Christ's reign on earth. This world even after a thousand years is never going to end. “The earth abides forever”, Ecclesiastes 1:4. “Yahweh God created the earth, it shall never, never, never be removed”, Psalm 104:5. Jesus said, “The meek shall inherit the earth”, Matthew 5:5. For how long? “the meek inherit the earth forever and forever”, .Psalm 37:29 when Christ sets up his government on earth, “of the increase of his government, there shall be no end”, Isaiah 9:7, and when he sits on David's throne in Luke 1:32, He rules over the house of Jacob, Israel forever and forever and of his kingdom “there shall be no end”

If you read any version of the bible older than 20 years, they all say that revelations is a dream. Conveniently, the religious groups and cults that base their belief systems on revelations have had that part removed when they paid for the newer editions. So, its only a possible future, and then only if we let the fundamentalist christians and doomsday cults take over the world.

Yes, Due to the fact that it makes sense. (unless you believe that Christ is god) The whole purpose of Christ coming to earth was to pay for the sin of adam. This made it possable for mankind to be redeemed to god. (Ransom) So in fact Christ was/ is our savior from sin. As a reward for this effort, his father, God almighty, has given him the priviledge of bringing the earth back to the edenic state. (God created us to live on earth as his people, that purpose hasnt changed.) Revelation states that that period of time will be 1000 years. (Millenial reign). After the 1000 years, the bible says that Christ will present a clensed mankind to god. in fact turning the rule back over to God. No doubt, Christ will still have an important position, but I have not found what it will be yet. No doubt that we will find out when the time comes.

Oh yeah, that's the bright spot for me!

Isaiah 11:

6 The wolf will live with the lamb,
the leopard will lie down with the goat,
the calf and the lion and the yearling [a] together;
and a little child will lead them.

7 The cow will feed with the bear,
their young will lie down together,
and the lion will eat straw like the ox.

8 The infant will play near the hole of the cobra,
and the young child put his hand into the viper's nest.

9 They will neither harm nor destroy
on all my holy mountain,
for the earth will be full of the knowledge of the LORD
as the waters cover the sea.
