my friend just found 2 cell phone numbers on her boyfriends phone records that were call hundreds of times at all hours of the day and night. She wants to find out if there is a way to look up the name of the person on the internet? Can you do a phone number search on a cell phone. She called the numbers and both numbers a female answered. How can she find out who it is without a confrontation. She is scared of her boyfriend because he is abusive. I say good riddence to him, but he wont leave her alone. They have a son that he holds over her head. Please let me know is we can find out who the numbers belong to.

Tell her to dich the @sshole. If he's abusive, she needs to go the the police, then get sole custody of her son. I don't see why @sshole type guys should be able to claim kids...She's the one who gave birth-it's her kid. Her guy is definately cheating. She needs to get rid of him asap.

She needs to just break up with him and get a court order against him. Also she can sue him for child support.
Their is no way to do a reverse search on the phone number, but you can have a guy call the numbers and ask who it is or give a different number, tell the person you are looking for someone who is to receive a check for this money in a holding account, people always want money, don't tell how much until the verification is done. Name & Date of Birth.

Here's a tip, taken from an old friend who found out her husband had cheated on her:
Write down the female phone number.
Go to a doctors office (or the county health department).
Use the telephone there to make a call to the female (remember, caller I.D. will appear on the females phone).
These offices usually have a public-use phone in the lobby.
Tell her that you are a nurse at doctor so-and-so's office.
Tell her this is a courtesy call on behalf of boyfriend.
Tell her that his sexually-transmitted disease tests have proved positive.
Tell her she might want to consult her doctor for a follow-up test.
Do this with calm authority.
Practice a few times so you sound like a professional medical person.

The yellow pages has a reverse lookup and also a people search but I don't know if it will work with cell phones. I think this guy is cheating and if your friend is too blind to see it, suggest she hire a private detective or call that show Cheaters. Why on earth would she want to stay with a loser like this guy? He can't keep it in his pants and he hurts her and she thinks it will get worse if she leaves...c'mon! Get her to call Women in Distress in your area or a similar victim's advocacy group and they can help protect her and her son and get her out of there.

Call the numbers pretending to be a fact verifier. Claim that they were told to verify the name and address associated with this phone number in regards to reference information some one gave to an employer.
Your friend needs to seek some help from either a women's shelter to escape this abuse regardless.

No way of looking it up on the internet. If you feel he is cheating and can not trust him the best thing to do is get out quick. Also make a call to the police and have a protective order issued for him being abusive. Remember the best thing to do is RUN, RUN, RUN, RUN,

Why dont you get the numbers from her and make the calls yourself. No reason to be nasty, since you are not personally involved like she is. Just tell her you found the number in a drawer and couldnt remeber who it belongs to and ask who she is....it might work.

Why does it matter WHO the woman is? Your friend needs to get away from this man even if he is NOT cheating. She needs to find a local agency in her area to help her get away and get sole custody of her son. If she does not, her son will either be abused, or will learn to be one himself. Is that what she wants for her child?

Call them for gods sake... be like ohhh i work at pizza vendor (lol or some other name) and this phone was left here whats your name? or idk think of some clever excuse to call the girl's numbers and find out who they are. I hope everything works out for her and um if hes abusive you need to get her somewhere safe and fast! i think her being safe is a little bit more important than who hes calling.... btw this kinda reminds me of the movie "Enough" with Jennifer Lopez... its a pretty good movie and it sounds a lot like her life...

The numbers are meaningless. It does not mater who he is seeing because what is done is His choice not something to blame the women for. Your friend better get away from him while she can because sooner or later He will hurt her and the child.
