i want to get a very loose perm, but i am afraid it will fry my hair... will it?

I don't know about frying it. But I got my hair permed and i noticed that it was breaking off a lot more than i would have liked.

Be really careful it wont necessarily fry it, but you will notice somee split ends. Also watch out because some fine hair does not perm I know mine does not and that is not a good feeling when you pay someone a couple hundred dollars and the perm doesnt take.

I have very fine hair and it's very dry. I have my hair relaxar at a salon and cut (when I want it short), but after it grows out I do my own perm. If you do your own perm, or if you already did your own perm you have to be very very careful because it can break off and come out. Each person has their own experience with relaxers. My hair is dry and I have to make sure it's moist. I have had my hair break off and I just go back to the salon and have them relax it and cut off the damage. So yeah..Good Luck.

WITH A LOOSE PERM YOU SHOULDN'T FRY YOUR HAIR BUT ARE YOU GOING TO DO IT YOURSELF
/ THAT MIGHT ANSWER YOUR QUESTION...NOE IF YOU ARE GOING TO A SALON BE PERCEPTIVE ABOUT TELLING THEM OVER AND OVER AGAIN THAT YOU WANT A LOOSE PERM MAKE SURE THAT THEY USE THE BIGGEST RODS THEY HAVE WHICH SHOULD BE A COLOR OF ORANGE OR PURPLE.......IF WHEN YOU GET HOME AND IN THE NEXT FEW DAYS YOU DON'T LIKE IT BECAUSE IT IS TOO TIGHT,,,,,YOU CAN USE DISH SOAP TO SHAMPOO YOUR HAIR,,IT WILL HELP TO LOOSEN IT UP....GOOD LUCK

any chemicals are harsh on your hair...especially if you do 2 things together...like color your hair & perm it ...that is very harsh....if you do get a perm...make sure you get a real nice (high quality) conditioner for your hair...for fine hair...a perm will make it feel fuller...like you have more hair....good luck!

every time you dye perm etc you are damaging your hair dont doit to many times cuz then ur hair will begin to fall out

Perms NEVER look the way you want them to, DONT DO IT CAPTAIN! just get a curling iron, women are funny creatures arnt we..... never satisfied...
