i just meet a guy off the internet about three or 4 weeks ago and i feel like ive known him 4 ever. should i date sum1 off the internet ive never done it before?

Are you an adult? If yes, then sure, but be safe. Don't give any information like last names, work place, where you live. Don't let him see your car or tag number, and make sure no one follows you home. Meet in a busy, well lighted place, like at a Barne's and Noble's for coffee or something. And make sure someone knows where you going and who you are meeting. If this guy wants to keep seeing you, insist on getting HIS tag number, a photocopy of his drivers' licence, and an address. Do some investigating before you put yourself into any kind of vulnerable situation. If he objects, forget him.
If not, I'd talk to your parents or some other OLDER adult you really trust. Even insist that this person go with you to meet this guy, and meet his parents too, before there are any dates.

I would suggest meeting with him in person first if distance permits, if you guys live to far apart to meet I don't see the point in the relationship. I would suggest having a "just friends date" and see if you even like him....He could have a disfgusting voice, smell bad and be a total perv...LOL you never know. If you meet him and decide that your feelings for each other in person are capable of holding a more then friends online relaionship I say go for it...have fun and the worst that can happen is you don't like him or you break up

You have to be careful in who you meet. If you known him for a long time I guess it is ok. You could marry someone and think you know them but you really don't. It is all about using your good judgement. If you met him 4 weeks ago then you need to take some time to get to know him better before you jump into a relationship. Your safety comes first you know.

ummmmm....You really have to follow your instinct on this one...I have met a couple of guys off the internet and we ended up dating for a while (with both guys) but I covered myself everytime. I mean, we met in very public places like, coffee shop or a bar. I guess you just have to take the risk, I did and I don't regret it....

My friend added this guys email address to my list, we talked and it seemed like we really clicked. But when we met, it was awkward and i wasn't attracted to them. The internet has a strange way of making people seem friendly, and we develope this picture of them from what we talk about.
But i'd play it safe if i were you.

well meat him at a place & tell him to wear a certain color so when you meet you see him & if you like what you see then you can go for it but if hes fugly just stand him up!
