thats obviously a misinterpretation of communion
additionly, only catholics believe in transubstantiation
protestants dont believe the wine is the actual blood and the bread is the actual body - its symbolism: his body was broken for us

The Romans accused Christians of being cannibals AND atheists.
When Jesus celebrated the passover with his disciples, he explained that the unleavened bread represented his body which was broken for them. He also explained that the 3rd cup of the Seder - that is, the cup of redemption - represented the blood he would shed for them.
The ceremony was intended to be a memorial. It was never intended to be literal, although we have many Christians today who say it is literal in a mysterious way.
The early Christians were called atheists because they would not recognize the Roman gods along with their own God.

i could extremely no longer be certain for you, yet listed below are my 2 cents nicely worth. some say blood should not be eaten via fact blood is equivalent to the 'existence' of a being: without the laying off of blood, there is no forgiveness (hebrews 9:22). I say it is not that we won't be able to consume blood, this is basically no rely if it reward you, and the folk around you or no longer? (a million corinthians 6:12) If i replaced into in a existence-style the place ingesting blood is acceptable i reckon i could do as romans do, in rome. *no, i do no longer think animals circulate to heaven. my reaction on your latter question is tht till now jesus got here and died for our forgiveness of sins, atonement replaced into completed via sacrifice of animals (ie laying off of blood). so i reckon blood must be seen sacred. yet then, that's no longer my factor of my answer. i'm in contact in it (ingesting of blood) if it would not reason absolutely everyone to stumble, yet reward those ard you.

Well id don't think that any christian or Jew practices cannibalism if you read your bible you would now that it taking Communion "drinking juice and eating bread" are symbolic of the blood and flesh of Christ. why do people ask questions like this. are they to merely irritate the true Christians

well I think you have your information TWISTED! but I have been saved and practiced christianity for over 17 years and I have never ever seen or practiced any blood drinking, cannibalism, or flesh tasting at all. Now if you are referring to Communion it is crackers and grape juice which only symbolizes being one with god! GET IT STRAIGHT!

Absolutely not. Human blood and bodies are the highest form of impurity in the Jewish religion. Even a dead animal is regarded as disgusting. That is why there are laws of kashruth (kosher) to make food pure and holy.

No, drinking the wine or grape juice and eating the wafer or bread is symbolic of the blood and body of Jesus. Only Catholics believe its really his blood and body. Since Jews don't believe Jesus is the messiah, why should they ,do this in remembrance of me, as the bible says?

Christians dont eat people? what the hell? Its not ritual, its symbolic. Christ was talking about taking part in his sacrifice, to fellowship with him.
he didnt literally mean to eat his flesh and drink his blood. The books after that more clearly reveal the meanings behind what he was speaking, (the bible said he would speak in riddles, in parables.)
Who taught you this?

This question is emblematic of the notion that "a little knowledge is a dangerous thing." I pray you better your circumstances and skills sets. You pray for it too... God will work miracles if you let it happen!
