Have you ever tried to eat your cats treats? I was just curious because they say they are meaty flavored. So, I wonder if they truely taste like chicken or beef.

I used to work at a chicken hatchery as the QC tech. They had a large container that is called the Allfault, that is where the dead baby chickens, the egg shells, the rotten eggs and all the other nasty stuff was sent. They had trucks come and pick up all the contents and send it off where they made dog food, cat food, and dog and cat treats. I wouldn't taste your cat treats if I were you, you never know what is in them.

Oh, I thought I was the only one! I was curious so I tried my cat's dry food. It is very flavorful but does not exactly taste like meat AT ALL. Not like chicken or beef, they only put that on the package so people will buy it.

I have tried cat and dog treat, and they are very dry and pretty much tasteless. I would not suggest it. Cat food/treats are made of horse biproduces so thats why if beef flavored it may only have some beef byproduces but mostly horse

Yes.. I have eaten a cat treat.. also a dog treat.. I do not... did not find them appetizing.. I found them rather dry and tasteless. I do not understand why or how a cat/dog can eat such things.

It depends on what is actually in them. Usually better quality foods taste better, you can tell. If its more appetizing for you, the same for the cat. One thing I know for sure, cheep foods are disgusting, and bi-products and animal digest are really disgusting!

my stepdad tried canned cat food before (liver flavor) and he said it tasted nothing like liver.

ive tried dry cat food and it was ... idr, but ive always wanted to try the treats beause they smell good... lol

I don't have cats, and if I did, I wouldn't eat their treats. I don't eat my dogs' treats.
