Ok, so here’s the scoop. I’ve known this guy a little over a year now, and I’ve dug him since day one. I semi-work with him, so I see him damned near every day. We get along great at work, and eventually we started hanging out outside of work. No big deal, I knew he had a woman, I’m a big girl and I can respect boundaries, so I never even came close to letting my seriously intense feelings be known. We’ve been to concerts, art shows, parties, etc together, been totally smashed together and NEVER has that line been crossed – not even flirting, just friends. So I figure he’s just a super cool fella, and ultimately I am grateful that he’s my friend because he’s awesome. But the kicker is that he and his woman have NOTHING in common. They spend like NO time together, she’s even moved 5 hours away, and he’s the first to say that food is about all they can agree on. So what’s the deal, why is he with this girl? He doesn’t **** talk her, but he doesn’t really have great things to say either.

It’s like he’s just comfortable & complacent or something, but that’s so not like him – he’s a get after it kind of guy, always doing things to better his life. So they’ve been together like a year & ½, but she moved back to her home town & got a job, & he’s buying a house here – obviously has no plans on moving to her. So then the other night things got REALLY intense between the two of us. No sex, kissing or the like, but it was incredibly obvious that he feels the same way about me, & we weren’t drunk or anything so I can’t blame it on the booze. It was amazing & awful all at the same time. I really dig this guy, & now that I know he digs me too it’s even worse. But bottom line he has a woman. So what do I do? Do I try to ask those hard questions & ask him to leave his woman? Do I just mind my P’s & Q’s & wait to see how this thing plays out? Do I tell him that this is all just to friggen hard on my psyche & I can’t be around him anymore until he makes up his mind?

Don't do it! Just back off and wait to see how things play out. You don't want to start something w/ him now because you now how the saying goes "if he did it w/ you, he'll do it to you"
Besides, don't you want a man who's completely available for to you?? You deserve that!! Go out and find someone who's willing to put u first!!

Why would you want to involve yourself with that? A year from now, some other chick will be on Yahoo answers asking the same question, only you will be the " Other chick" that he has.

ok if your as close as you say. Talk to him about how he feels about his girl. Think about what he said and then decied if you should start to try to get him. But make sure to think before you act! If you dicied not to start tring to get him then just be happy he's your friend!

he needs to break up with her, if he dont that means he dont wanna!! is he a ho?? u need to think bout him if he has not broke up with her that he dont wanna... also u dont wanna be the ho! if he wants you than he needs to show it and kick the other beeeotch to the side.. lol
