Well keep in mind that our Constituion didn't come around until 1789 (217 years old) and our Flag didn't come about until June 14 of 1777 when the flag we would recognize (13 stripes and 13 stars) was first adopted.
But its still pretty stinking cool. Just remember that the road to where we are today as a nation was as trecherous and full of stumbling blocks as it is for the future. America will never be perfect but its a hell of a lot better than anywhere else.

Well, it wasn't 230 continuous years under one flag due to that whole little thing we call the Civil War, when the lower bit said see ya and got another flag, but they lost so Happy 4th!

Hi Ong Jon,
Since you've mentioned, I've postponed my trip to NY 'til the 13th of July 'due to my wife's some unforeseen delays, which turns out to be a good thing, 'cause I'm addicted to the World Cup (đá banh/bóng đá/túc cầu, whichever you wish to call it); so, leaving for NY now would be like "giết người trong mộng"... :) :)
I love history & politics in general, but as flattered as I'm, I'm not as good as you think. I couldn't possibly pop the answer right out of the top of my head as that about Israel. I'm learning as I post the answer for you.
Just glad to be @ your service, sir :)
Xin lỗi Ông Jon, câu trả lời này không có liên hệ gì với câu hỏi trên :).

Liberty and Justice for all. I detest those involved in 9/11 but somewhere your argument fails - Guantanamo Bay..............
(Incidentally - have a wonderful day, I really mean it).

What is your question? And no, it is not 230 years under one flag. It has changed many times.
