Get a layered style hair cut. Curl it. Try big curls.

A messy pin-up with chinese sticks, curl the ends of your hair and swoop it up in the back loose though, leave some tresses out in the front by your ears or temples. Then once you have it pinned up you can tease out the hair to make it full. Another idea is to use a flat iron to straighten your hair and then take the top or crown and set it on rollers, seperate curls with your fingers and tease. Another hair style thats coming back is the Mohawk, yes the Mohawk. You can get those twisties down going up the sides and have your hair curled at the ends, it's really cute on some people and different.

usually straightening with a ceramic straightener, curls, or an updo look best. My favorite is to straighten it then take a section from the front (like where the bangs are and about two inches back) tease it with a fine toothed comb so it makes a kind of hill, secure it with bobby pins and pull my hair back into a high ponytail.
