you love each other, but you are wiling to let go of the other person..you think that she/he deserves better..but why? this is not fair for the other person right?

A lot of the time that is just an excuse to let the person down easy. They just want to move on and it sounds nicer to say you are better than they are

If there is such a thing, is that he loves you too much. Its just that he is trying to look out for you. He wants you do have everything even if it's not with him. Is it really so bad if he puts you first then himself? In his eyes you deserve it.

If a girl gets dumped and the guy indicates that he loves her but she isn't good enough for him. Than he clearly didn't love her to begin with.
