Hi, that's an interesting situation. Maybe if you keep your hair short then it won't be that curly or frizzy.

My daughter is mixed.... and her hair is curly most of the time, but it gets nappy throughout the day, so I got some advice from various sources and I find that Pink Oil moisturizer is the BEST thing for mixed peoples hair. It is very good, and it smells good too! Just rub a dime sized amount (more for thicker hair) into your head and scrunch. If you need to try putting more on the straight part and scrunch alot. Otherwise get a fade. They look really good on men.

hmmm that's a tough one, a good way to control frizz is something like a shine serum or anti-frizz serum--on the bottle one of the first ingredients should be called Dimethicone...which is what helps control frizz, but use sparingly if used too much it can look oily, I put on a little when my hair is still damp--it still curls but the frizz is a bit better.

As far as curly/straight what kind of look are you going for? all over straight or all over curly? just wondering.

have a good one--Jammie girl

Try using some gel if you are going to keep your hair long. If not just get a nice hair cut, low like a fade or something.

My son is about your age and has the same problem. He solved it by cutting his hair short, but if you want longer hair you can go see a beautician, one that works with african american hair, they can do a relaxer on it or there's a new way to straighten it but I do believe its expensive.

keep hair as low as possible and put a ponytail at the back if not cut it as low as the front

Go for a close-crop crew...it'll be fashionable.
Otherwise, you'll end up paying big buck$ to either curl or straighten your hair.
