my step sister is really pretty and she likes to flaunt it, she is 14, and i am 13, she constantly takes pictures of herself, and she likes to tell me when people tell when they call her pretty, and she tells me when her friends call me ugly. even my step mom said she was prettier than me. it realllllllly PISSES me off. so what should i do? especially since she will deny it.

W3ll change ur style .. But if u lik3 who u are then dont change. If u think ur pretty then dont worry bout it.. N ur step sister seems nice. N just remember that she's older and just maybe u could get some tips off of her. B3come her best fri3nd i really wish i would have a sister but i only have 3 dumb brothers! N if u dont want to be lik3 her i suggest u just be ur self.. because changing 4 others isnt a reallly good idea but changing 4 ur self is.. Do what ur heart leads u to

Obviously it seems for someone who is being told they are beautiful constantly, it would go to their head, but if she has to keep looking at herself, and taking pictures all the time it almost seems asthough she needs the reassuring, or reminded that she is beautiful.
What you need to do is to focus on yourself, we all are unique in our own way i believe we all have different levels of beauty and by her friends calling you ugly dosent mean that you are they don't speak for the majority, leave your looks to the eyes of the beholder, i'm sure you have also got your own qualities to, that probably your step sister has not got, start valuing yourself as a beautiful person, and when you hear that your step sister is beautiful, tell yourself you are to in your own way, and with regards to your step mom she would be biased anyway because it's her daughter.

Don't worry about it and just move on. Believe it or not there are much more important things in life than looks. Concentrate on your studies and be the best you can be. Once you leave high school no one is going to care how popular you were in school or how cool you thought you were. All they will care about is what you know and what you can do.

i was in the same situation and i understand what it feels like but believe me they are only doing it to make you believe that you are not as good looking as you step sister. don't listen to them because they will tell you anything just as long as you believe what they are saying.and for reassurance got o your family and friends and see what they say but wait till both of you get a little older because everyone has their own opinion on what beauty is

Her looks are what she values. What do YOU value. Don't let other people's opinions make you who you are! Find what is in your heart and go for it! I have a sister and two step sisters. We all are very different in everything from looks to what we like, but we are all happy with ourselves. That is the key.

Sound like she is really VAIN !!! Which ever one is her blood parent they have to know she is like that or they are blind or they did not include them in their life. I would have a family pow wow. And tell them about it. And that you will not tolerate it. For this problem they have to do something. Let them know that you have asked this on answers. If you can print out the comments to let them know that this is real and they are responsible to correct this problem it will not go away it will only get worse. she is a BULLIE. Shame on her parent for allowing her to behave like she does.

Let me tell you something. All the pretty teenagers turn into unattractive adults. You are going to end up more beautiful in the end! She's using up her beauty too early and the more she brags about it, the less beautiful it makes her!

when she calls herself pretty you laugh and say that is not all it matters. real beauty is from the brains. boys only flirt around with gals like her but marry serious gals like you. it was not nice for your step mom to take her daughter's side.remember it's what is inside that counts, not outside. guys have fun with girls who are only pretty.but marries girls who are intelligent, caring, good , humble. you are young, study hard and forget about your sis. believe me , you will win at the end.

You can't control her behavior or your mom's. Really, the only way they will quit is if they want to... Have you told them how you feel...do they still do it anyway? It must make them feel good to make you feel badly...You can't change them, you can only change yourself.
The most imporant thing that you can learn is you can only control your own behavior. If you told them how you feel and they still do it, then you have to change how YOU react. I know it's hard. But you will only find peace if you change your reaction to what they do...
P.S. I'm sure you are pretty too.
