hasn't happened to me but to a friend,he has been diagnosed w/ parkison disease,and has been seeing these lights and hearing sounds and believes someone is coming in his house,been going on for a few months now

These sound like psychotic delusions and may be organic, or the result of medications he/she has taken in the past or is currently taking (legal or illegal).
There is a lot more information needed than is supplied to make a reasonable guess.
