im in germany and i still dony know what to get my grandma shes 89 and i dont know what she would like!please help.

Get a translator or a friend or relative who speaks the language and head for the shops. Call your grandmother first and tell her you want to buy her something special. Ask her about what she likes. A lot of people like music and photograph. Send some flowers if you're really uncertain. May I suggest a bottle of Riesling or Gerwerstraminer from the local township? She may like a blanket, heavy coat or shawl.

Do you have a bunch of family pictures? Make her a scrapbook. Or make something creative pertaining to an important part of her life. Or make a scrapbook / storybook of things that were going on the year she was born, or do a comparison and contrast book of things the year she was born compared to things in 2006.

get her something to make her feel young again...im not talking sbout an ipod but made a camera(digital) so she can takew pictures of everything she goes and every event she has to see with her grandkids...thats what i did and she loved it

anything that would help her in the kitchen would be good, Germany makes many powered appliances that could help someone with arthritis or joint problems...

grandma is 89???? be glad you still have her. I have found older people like flowers, dunno why though. Also old mean bad circulation. Blankets are good too, like a thin throw.
