The Dells, the Dells, the Dells. Wisconsin Dells, about 45 minutes north of Madison (capital). There is pretty much anything to fit your budget, from large resorts with indoor/outdoor water parks, golf courses, arcades and the like; to several different campgrounds (Mirror Lake is one of my favorite places to camp). The entire city is an amusement park with many water parks, fun houses, boat and Duck rides, a huge downtown shopping area, and tons of restaurants. Some of the favorite resorts are Great Wolf Lodge, Kalahari, and The Wilderness. There is even a theatre that shows musical acts (usually country or nostalgic types, like Styx and REO Speedwagon). If you need more information, call the Dells tourist information bureau at 1-800-22-DELLS and ask them to send you a summer fun guide. I'm sure there's probably a website, as well (you can ask for the specific website when you call).

Well for Wisconsin going to Norah's Ark in Wisconsin Dells is a great place to go !
