We recycle everything and anything than can be recycled. Use sprays without CFCs. There have been inventions in the past that can be used as alternative fuel. The Federal Government needs to look at developing this alternative fuel for the sake of the environment. There is so much that can be done, it just seems that for some reason, the majority of the world doesn't consider this a top priority.

I try to help other people realize that they can do many things to help save the environment, things that are simple and can easily be incorporated into their lifestyle (see source below). I also attempt to the best of my ability to walk my talk: drive only when necessary and have a 42 mpg car; recycle everything possible; have stopped my junk mail and help others do the same; compost; use cold water for washing clothes; avoid using the dryer except in winter; use canvas bags for all my shopping; avoid overpackaged products; never use disposable plates, cups, etc. Participate in Freecycle and help keep items out of the waste stream; sign petitions and write letters to political leaders on environmental issues.

reuse, recycle, reduce, and recover where ever I can. I try to have leftovers so I don't use energy to cook, I buy larger quantities so I don't have to shop as often thus saving fuel, I have my freezer full, I put plastic on the windows in the winter and I keep my temperature down when I'm not at home and in the evenings, I try to walk as often as I possibly can. I don't have an air conditioner.

I Reduce, Reuse, Recycle...also I work for a Conservation District, and teach local elementary students the ways that they can protect our environment for future generations. The Conservation District I work for offers many incentive programs for local farm/land owners, to help encourage them to use best management practices to conserve their water and soil.

I try not to waste paper, recycle at work (my home garbage is recycled at the facility), don't litter, cut up pop can rings, and try to respect my environment. Nothing major, but I think every little bit helps!

I try to do what I can . I basically try to recycle whenever possible, reuse what I can, and I try to conserve water and power I also try to get others around me to do it too. I try to follow the basic principles, reduce, reuse, recycle.
If everyone did something, no matter how small. I think the environment would get better.

The usual, reduce-reuse-recycle, combine errands to make the best use of car trips, pick up litter when I see it. I also avoid using toxic chemicals on the weeds and bugs, compost all compostables, and send out healing energy to the planet on a regular basis.
Great question!

Save the environment??? Let's see..... Well, we could start by voting Republican, since they are more concerned about our reliance on fossil fuels than the Democrats. And everybody said AMEN!

I ride my bike to work (most of the time). I reduce the amount of waste from electronics. I don't do it to help the environment, it's just a side effect.
