why are some girls gothic??

I can't speak for any goths myself unfortunately, but I can give you my observations. Most goths that I've met have the absolute lowest self-esteem that I've ever seen. Most of the are always depressed and feel sorry for themselves. The wearing of the black seems to be a form of self-mourning. Not all goths are like this though. Some people just like wearing black all the time and are therefore labeled gothic. I have a friend who does this, but for a different reason. She's chubby and black is supposed to make one look thinner.

self esteem problems stemming back to not having a puppy to play with when they were little. Or it could be suppressed homosexual tendencies because of their father not loving them or not being around. lol......or they just like it!

why are some guys rebels or jocks or nerds? why are some girls skanky or sporty or tomboys? the answer to this is .....we all are different thats why. Everyone likes a different style. Its what attracts them thats all.

tis a fad...like the punk rock ...with all the spikes and such...unless they are also into the religion...occult of some kind...merely a preference ...the need to be different i guess.
