COPS or America's Most wanted or Dallas SWAT
Basically any show that is filmed on the street.
What you have to remember though, is that a show like COPS may spend one week on the street filming in order to get a few minutes of footage for their show.
The average street officer's job is 11.5 hours of boredom/paperwork and 30 minutes of excitement! The only thing you'll see on TV is the exciting part... not the hours of paperwork or other standard stuff we do!
As for the drama shows... Law & Order seems realistic to me and so does CSI. However, I believe that a lot of CSI on TV gets patrol officers into trouble on the streets. Everyone watches CSI and sees how they can pull prints off of just about any surface, what the average citizen doesn't realize is how expensive all that equipment is and that for the average crime (car burglary for example), it is too expensive for a police department to justify sending its (often too few) lab technicians out to print a car because a window was smashed and a stereo or some change was stolen. I've seen the CSI's on TV pull prints off dashboards and other surfaces, and after talking to the lab technicians near me, they all say it's not possible without special, expensive, equipment and sometimes it's just flat out not possible... Everything goes perfectly on CSI, but not in real life.
p.s. If you ask a lab technician, they'll probably tell you that they hate CSI shows for the reasons listed above.
