I am a Canadian citizen travelling between New York and Paris.

You almost always need a passport to travel between countries, but you might mean: does a Canadian citizen need a visa to enter France? If you're visiting for less than three months as a tourist, you do not.

I'm not sure I understand your question... Yes a passport is necessary, but you don't have to be Canadian... Now, if you're asking about a visa, then no, you don't need a visa, you can just go to France as a visitor with your Canadian passport. Hope you have a great time in Paris if you get a chance to visit!

The statutory 3 months validity aren't any more required for Brits stepping into the Schengen zone so that you will be ok. As to renewing your passport , I truly have merely had mine finished and besides the undeniable fact that it nonetheless had six weeks validity, they did not upload them to the recent time period. It says they do on the internet web site, yet they did not.
