omg.. i am exactly the way you are and i don't know what to do myself, i always feel bad everytime i see a stray dog walking around thinking there might be a chance they can get kill under any kind of circumstances and i would love to adopt them all but i can't and i feel quilty about it. i always feel like breaking down into tears everytime i see them suffering, i'm even planning to donate money every month to support homeless dogs. i totally feel you girl, there's nothign wrong with us, it's just in our heart that we're so loving and caring for dogs. it's not a bad thing at all so you got nothing to worry about. may god bless you, have you noticed 'god' spells 'dog' the other way around?? =)

First of all, the fact that you even have this problem shows that you have a good heart. It could be a mild form of Obsessive Compulsive Disorder. You could see a therapist. However, an alternative route would be to turn your obsession into something productive. Start looking for employment openings at animal shelters and kennels. Depending on your financial situation, you could even think about going to college to study veternary medicine. There's certainly nothing wrong with turning your passion into a career.

Each person has things they are passionate about and I think that the world is meant to be that way. If everyone were passionate about the same thing, our world would be one-dimensional, would not function and would be Boring! Take your passion and turn it into a positive contribution to our world. We need people to care about animals. But just remember that you cannot create a one-dimensional life for yourself, either. Anyone who focuses only on their passion, job or hobby can be really boring. Set a schedule for yourself and work with all your heart for animals. Then when it is time for your family, give them all your heart. Liken it to a surgeon-- if the same surgeon worked all day and night at surgery and never gave time to his family, then his life would not function. Other surgeons are on-call when the surgeon has time off and you can believe that during your time off, then some other angel will be on call to help the animal.

Yeah i think about animals to. But look you cant take care and help every animal in the world. Think there is also other people doing that job so you dont have to worry as much. Go on a vacation or somthing were youll have fun and think about animals only when you really need to.

I think you are doing something that is helping almost all the worlds animals out. And why should your husband hate you are doing it? I just say that you need to ask yourself "Do I enjoy this? Is there a way where I can somewhat limit how many animals I bring home?" me i personlly say dont stop, and keep up the good work.

Why are you feeling like **** over this? Its not a problem at all. I wish there were more people like you. I myslf am a little obsessed with dogs. I have five, one of thm i picked up from the street. You are compassionate. Do your best to provide shelter to these animals. But at the sam time, remember that there is only so much you can do.

First, i think its amazing that you care so deeply about animals...Second, If you feel that strongly about it, look into Animal control (i.e. the "Dog Catcher" ) or volunteering at an animal shelter..They can ALWAYS use people like you to help the animals find good homes and such...Goddess bless you for being so concerned about animals....

Volunteer once a week in an animal shelter. This way you will know that you are doing something for the animals and your mind can rest.

hey dont sweat it. i know so many people who love to help abandoned animals so much and their friends and family cant stand it. so if i were you, i'd do what i love best and that would be taking care of those animals because if you dont who will? i understand why your husband may hate it because it seems you love the animals more than him so you should spend most of your time with him and than give the animals some time.

Maybe try to find something else to fill your mind. Do you have any hobbies? Maybe pick one up & try to let that fill your time.
Or how about volunteering some time at the local humane society? Maybe this would help you feel like you're helping out those animals?
Good luck
