Yes. I try not to give my dog too much human food. Though, yes, dogs will eat almost anything, that doesn't make it good for them. Their stomachs are ill-equiped to handle much of the food we put in our mouths.

My border collie has scrambled eggs about once a month, she loves them. Try a little cheese for a change or tuna. Also think about what people fed dogs before the invention of dog food. Remember dogs are wolves at heart, and eat just about anything. Although i did hear to much human chocolate can be poisonous for dogs. Hope this helps.

Your dog needs roughly 60grams protein per 20kg body weight per day, plus twice the volume of protein given as carbohydrate. If you look at the egg box you'll see how much protein is in each egg and you can work it out.
If your dog is undernourished, recovering from an illness or operation, then lightly scrambled eggs will be easier for him to digest then beef and cheaper than chicken.
But you can't really go wrong with tinned sardines in vegetable oil, biscuit and green veg and carrots.
The cholesterol in the eggs won't hurt him at all; dogs can metabolise all the cholesterol you can chuck at them and it wont give him heart disease.

Whenever I want to make something with just egg whites, I nuke the yolks and save them until my dog's next meal and mix it in with it for a special treat that she loves.
Like anything, there is such a thing as too much, so set a limit of no more than 3 per week. That's what humans are supposed to limit themselves to.

I often make a scrambled egg/beef mixture and mix with their food for my dogs when they are pregnant, nursing, sick, thin, or working hard.
Don't feed them to many though! Depending on your dogs size, a medium egg every day or two.

Eggs are good for dogs for the same reason they're good for humans - high protein, omega-3s, etc. I'm not sure what would be considered "too many." I mix scrambled eggs and cottage cheese with my dog's dry food.

It's probably not a good idea for your dog to eat too much people food in general. Here is a link to a great article with an extensive list of foods that are toxic to dogs.

when my dog was a puppy and he had a bad tum, my vet told me to feed him boiled chicken and scrambled egg because it's easy on his stomach. so it's not bad for your dog to eat egg.
canned dog food are for convenience. dogs should be fed chicken n eggs n cereal n stuff.
my vet complains about dog owners who feed there pets canned food.
then again she's a well paid vet so can afford her own advice!!

My Grandad fed his dogs on a diet purely of caramac bars and scrambled eggs, and they both lived to a ripe old age. Of course they had disgusting breath and hardly any teeth.
