I guess if you get to be in your 80's and above that is probably true. However, if your talking 30's or even 50's I don't believe that holds true because there are so many single people now days and because it is much easier to find those single people. I do think that you get pickier as you get older so your pool of people your willing to date does get smaller.

I think in some ways it can be harder. Older people usually have a little more baggage about them... kids, health problems, etc... but plenty of older people date... you just need to hang out where people your age like to go.

I don't think so. I think it used to be true. My mom is 61-my dad died five years ago and she just got re-married to a nice man-he's 68. A bunch of her friends are getting married at older ages, too. It's pretty neat.

No. The selection list narrows, of course, because most attractive people attract another. Once attracted, most people capable of stability become stable in their relationships. Your choices are fewer, but there are also fewer for him to choose...

sure seems that way. I met a great guy 2 years ago & we had it all; passion, romance, magic. but he ended the relationship suddenly 7 weeks ago (Thanks Mike) & now I can't even imagine trying to start dating again. I don't even know if I can!!

NO of course not! You'll find someone just as well if you were younger. That's a old wise tale.
