I just don't understand why a young woman would "sell" her body to recieve a fake, selfish, lustful replacement for love. LOVE ISN'T SEX!!! why do people think it is?

it is true the way folks think these days about sex.. the moral decay of the this world is going down rapidly and no sex isnt love and love isnt sex... i most totally agree with u... people need to wake up and see there is more to life than just have a good time temporaliry... they need to think of the long term consequences, Std, unwanted pregancies, gulity consceince...lost of self respect just to name a few

Most people are naive about it and I believe, well from my own experience that you never know that you've truly been in love until you lose that love for the first time, (as far as man and woman go) alot of people are so busy looking for love and in love with being in love (especially women) that we substitute sex and lust for love, or we take sex first and hope it turns into love which depending on the guy and the circumstance it usually doesn't. I also think the way people were raised as children and there examples of love can either be beneficial or give them a tainted image of what love really is and how to receive it cause they never have themselves....it's truly sad

Low self esteem plays a part. The woman in question may have been violated as well. Giving in to peer pressure to be hip and fit in dominates some ones train of thought. But to be sure there are virgins out there, both female and male. Pride yourself if you are in that number, there's nothing wrong with that.

Of course sex isn't love, and love isn't sex. But they do have a lot to do with each other (which is wy sex is also called "making love"). Sex can be good too: many women really enjoy it, with or without love. If she's enjoying it too, it isn't selfish, nor is she selling her body.

Because this world is totally messed up. I am one person who thinks sex is wrong before marriage. You are right, love isn't sex.
