Prostate disorder is a rather generic term for a number of medical problems that center around the prostate.

For some older men, the prostate gland can become a serious threat for their health. Health experts say besides prostate cancer, several other disorders can be diagnosed in an early phase, which increases the chance of successful treatment.

The prostate gland influences a man's ability to urinate and can also affect his sexual activity. According to the American Cancer Society, it is the second most common site of cancer in men, and it is estimated that more than 200,000 men will develop prostate cancer this year.

The Urology Institute says today, an estimated 12 million American men have some problem with their prostate. By age 60, some 50 percent of all men suffer from prostate problems. And by the time a man reaches 85, he has a 90 to 95 percent chance of having to cope with an enlarged prostate, referred to as benign prostatic hypertrophy (BPH).

There are a number of resources that can give you more information on symptoms and science regarding the prostate (please see links below), but anyone with concerns about his prostate should see a urologist or his primary care doctor.

Hope this helps!

It depends on what you call disorder, very communly there is a condition called BPH (Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia) in wich the normal symptoms include:

Obstructive or Irritative voiding (Urinary flow is unusuall compared with younger males)
There might be an enlarged prostate on rectal exam
Absence of urinary tract infection, neurologic disorder, stricture disease, prostatic bladder malignancy

This disease is age related and it is the most common bening tumor in men.
Next time you might want to be a tad more specific :)

if ur urinating just look if your pee is still squirting as high as before if it's not then you have one. it's common with males who are 30 up. if you have trouble urinating then you're in a higher stage of prostate disorder.
