Do very well in school, work jobs after school and during summer, get involved in after school activities, go to a very good college.

The serves 2 purposes. First, you are able to spend alot of time away from your adopted mother who sounds like a ***** while doing good for you.

2nd, this hopfully ensures you will be able to go to a very good college far away when you turn 17 and then you will have your own life away from you mother.

Mothers who abuse their kids like this are the worse kind. You need to keep your distance from her.

PS

Only report her if the situation become extreme. Such as constent verbal and physical abuse. The "system" is fuked beyond repair and if you report her things will get worse. Either they will give your mom **** and then send you back to her OR they will take you and send you to a foster home where strangers will REALLY abuse you. So again, only report her if that is the last option.

Your mom needs her head examined, No parent has the right to do that to any child let alone your own. I do not know her but she sounds horrible. She has major problems. I would go to my councilor at school and talk to them you need to talk to someone, this is not healthy for you mentally.

That is so sad... Have you ever confronted her about it? If so how does she react? If she is abusive to you then you need to report her to someone, Try confiding in another family member, (aunt or cousin, or someone not in the household

Being adopted has nothing to do with it. She shouldn't say things like that to you... or to anyone!

This can be a sign of abuse. Talk to your school counselor about it.
