I'd recomend just throwing it away, but if you want to wean the baby off, just start giving it to them less and less.

Depends on how old they are. If they are older and ask for the pacifier, then making them a part of the process would be the best. I saw a show that had the child find all the pacifiers and then gave them to other children. In exchange, the child got a small treat and they seemed pretty ok with this exchange.

Not to be mean But just take it away or hide it because they dont need it it is just a habbit just like smoking
Or you could do it by only giving it to the baby two times a day then lessen the times per day each day until they are off

When I took mine off the bottle and pacifier I would only give it to him when he was going to sleep at first. Then I eventually just took it away totally.

Just throw it out. The baby will be upset for a few days, but will get over it.

JUST TAKE IT AWAY AND NEVER GIVE IT BACK THEN TOLERATE THE CRYING DONT GIVE IN BECAUSE YOU CANT STAND THE CRYING, STAY STRONG, EVENTUALLY THE CHILD WILL FORGET ALL ABOUT IT AND STILL LOVE YOU IN THE LONG RUN.
