I have a Bug Aquarium and my Dad suggested Fireflies/Ligtning Bugs since we have alot near our house.BUT here's the big question,"What do Fireflies/Lightning Bugs Eat?"Please be serous I really would like to know.

They do eat.I learned it in 5k,but i forgot what.

Fireflies are quite predaceous. The larvae feed on earthworms, snails and slugs. Adults have rarely been observed doing this, but it doesn't mean that they don't. Adult may sustain themselves with plant nectar.

In all truthfulness, they don't eat. they die within a week of transforming from a larva to the adult firefly. they are too busy mating to eat.
