There was no reason for them to go in the first place, Bush is greedy just like his father, he turned down the option to let the troops come home in November, He now wants them to rebuild Iraq of course with the taxes we pay. my fiancee was in iraq for two years now he has Post Tramatic Stree Disorder, and Bad dreams all the time. they may not so it on the news but thousands of woman and children are being slaughtered on a day to day basis, and the recruiters are still in High school trying to get more people to join.

Don't forget, our country is not at war. Only congress can declare war and they have not done so since WWII. I think the military has a good rotation going for the soldiers in Iraq, I think pulling them out of Iraq would destroy all we've worked for in the past few years.

I can't disagree with the war in Iraq at this point... I don't agree with our formal reasons for being there (they never did find those nukes), but Saddam Hussein NEEDED to be taken out of power! He was killing his own people - it was a human rights crisis! As a superpower nation, we not only had the ability to rescue that country, we had the duty to do it. Now that we are there... well, we are there... we can't very well leave the Iraqis over there with insufficient training and manpower to defend themselves from the insurgents - that would be another human rights crisis in itself! Unfortunately, I believe we are there for the longhaul and hopefully, in the end we'll make a new friend.

I think we shagged it up over there, and we need RADICAL reform to our policy there, but we can't just pull out.
On the one hand, continued presence of US troops will continue to spark insurgency. Our stickin' around is giving more people cause to blow themselves up.
On the other hand, if we leave, the insurgent leaders will then take power, making Iraq much more dangerous then it was under Saddam.
Solution-Reform The Occupation Policy.
Bring in International Support, including greater Arab League troops.
Focus on the Economics of the Reagon.
Create a flexible withdrawl timeline, with a series of goals we need to achive.
The damn thing's a tar baby. We're holding an alligator by the mouth.

I am in the military, and I have talked to many guys who have actually been "over there" (i.e. not arm-chair quarterbacking this). The consensus is we need to get out once the job is done. If we leave earlier, then we validate the terrorists tactics and techniques - and we will be fighting the same war against the same people in some other location in the future.
And while people are questioning why we are over there, we can all agree that there has not been another 9/11 since we took the fight to the enemy.

i want them to, but would the misson be complete? I dont think that it would be safe for america, or americans to pull out now! We need to stay there and finish what we started, and then they can come home! I want the soldiers back just as much as the next person, and we also need to remember, the soldiers there knew that they would have to go, and made there own decision!

You are absolutely right in disagreeing with the war. This has all been a pack of lies from the beginning starting from 911 and then going to Iraq. The US lied to get into the Korea Conflict and they lied to get into Viet Nam so whats new?

They should have never invaded Iraq in the FIRST place. Wow what a $hitty president we have. I'm completely ashamed to say he;s the president of our country. To answer your question, yes, I think they should be brought home!

yes. Bring them home. Some don't even know the real reason they are fighting. Some need to be home. They aren't being properly honored for the sacrifices they endure. But we do need to keep the terrorists away. No one can win. Sons lives and freedoms are lost in order to keep freedom in tact. I wish I knew it all.

Keep the troops there until the job is done. What would be the point of cutting and running. If you want to speed the process up of bringing them home go enlist, your help would be greatly appreciated. If your unwilling to do that, stick a fork in it.
