Being more than just friends has several meanings. One of which is that a person want to persue a one on one relationship with you and hopes it becomes more than just friends. The other one being a person want to have a sexual relationship with you and have no commitiments on either parts.

It could be she want to be your girlfriend or she likes you as a family member, ask her and see what she says communication is a big key to most situations.it depends on how she says it.
