WHAT IS SOOOOO UNIQUE ABOUT A RAINBOW THAT IT IS ONLY ASSOCIATED WITH HOMOSEXUALITY? I AM 100% STRAIGHT, BUT WHENEVER I SEE A RAINBOW OUT SIDE I LIKE TO STAND OUT THERE AND LOOK AT IT FOR A WHILE. Other people had the Rainbow as a symbol of world peace and world unity in the sixties and seventies, the rainbow symbol was adopted by government financed and supported gay equal rights groups and publicized to the point where nobody else could use it. The Greenpeace group Rainbow warriors with their ship the Rainbow Warrior is one example of a non gay rainbow symbol user. The US gov and big business(oil, logging, mining and pollution heavy manufacturing) and the military regarded the environmentalists as a threat as well as several nonconformist peace and love hippie groups.
this was a very effective way of damaging these movements, in short a great propaganda coup. Now any body who is not an out of the closet parade prancer runs like hell as fast as he sees any of these rainbow symbols.

I hate that homosexuals took the rainbow to use as their "symbol" because I love rainbows & would like to put stickers on my car or get a tattoo of one but don't want folks to think I'm a lesbian. My ex used to say that's what he would think if he saw a rainbow on my car window - c'mon Mike, it's just a sticker!! I think it's supposed to be all the colors representing all walks of life getting along. I don't know.

yeah, no offense to all my Gay/Lesbian/Transgendered friends out there. But uh, I got scammed.
I'm an Apple Computer nut and like to fly my colors.
put my retro cool Apple Rainbow decal on my car and started getting hit on by guys all the time. Had to take it off my ride cause I was tired of breaking hearts! hahahahahahahaaa
Sounds ridiculous, but it's true.
Oh well, guess I have to live without the rainbow now.
