I'm not saying looks is the only thing that matters, but I do think it plays a role in a relationship.

Let's put it this way. Ugly people will end up with ugly people and average people will end up with average people. Beautiful people will usually end up with beautiful people. Look around you and the proof is everywhere.

First - answer this: when you love someone, don't they become just so much more beautiful? So, how do you determine, if they were really good looking at the beginning or that you were just plain attracted to them? Therefore, it IS what is in the inside that drew you closer to them and you became more in-love with them. So - in the end result, the inside qualities are more important for lasting relationships. Ugly people exist when their souls are ugly.

Looks do matter a little bit. I mean you cant be with someone that you find completely unattractive. You have to be attracted to the person at least a little for a romantic intimate relationship to be successful. But at the same time Looks are not the most important. I know because I have dated plenty of cute guys who have crappy personalities.

And we are all to blame of exclaiming that. yet what i imagine may be the overall theory in the back of that reality is: a guy will be drop lifeless wonderful and a real prick interior, so if so his insides make him a loser inspite of how he seems. It depends on the person. Looks are important for the initial attraction but it is not going to make or break a relationship in the long run. If you know someone who is super sweet and not "UGLY" then it can work but there has to be something to attract you and keep you attracted.

Of course there has to be some sort of physical attraction at first, but truely looks are not that important. I think that secure, smart people are the ones who say that looks don't matter.

No...I am pretty hot, but I date people for who they are, not how they look. It does help when the person is attractive, but sometimes it is the pheromones that I get sucked into and not the actual physical appearance of the person. Comprende?

the only thing that matters on the inside is my peter and hes not all taht pretty. so its a good thing looks dont matter.sometimes i cover him in plastic hes so ugly. and he spits
