it says in the bible "The lord would rather have you spill your seed on the ground rather than in the belly of a whore." But the problem with masturbation is that it usually involves lusting and lusting is a sin. So If you are thinking about your wife while master bating than I guess not but if you are thinking about some hot girl in a grocery store than that is lust and a sin

I believe it is, because it does not involve a spouse. Even if a person is thinking about the spouse or doing it right in front of the spouse, the spouse is not participating in the sexual encounter.

Nope it is not a sin, but a heart issue. It is not something of God, but something man designed to separate himself from God.
God can only give true pleasure, masturbation gives pleasure to the person involved and separates him or her from God.
Remember the earliest close example is in the Bible is where one person who is having intercourse pulls out and spills his semen upon the ground. He was punished by death.
Remember glorification of man is not of God and therefore will lead to death.

yeah i think it is,because its against humans nature and God's will,instead of masturbating you should be married to someone you love and have satisfying sex in a natural way...till then you can keep yourself busy with sports or something like that.
