First: Yes, we have every right to "talk of love," since the Inquisitors were not true Christians. Had they been, the Inquisition never would have taken place! There is NOTHING in the Bible that supports or excuses what they did. Nothing.
Second: You lump all Christians in together with these folks. Last time I checked, every single Christian alive in the entire world did not participate as an Inquisitor or a supporter thereof.
Third: You neglect to mention (although the Wikipedia article from which you cut-and-pasted most of your information does) that many of those killed in the inquisitions were ... CHRISTIANS.

The slaughters you are talking about were because people got their views twisted. People still get twisted today when they think they have the right to judge and point the finger while ignoring their own problems. Christianity is supposed to be based on love that is what Jesus' teachings were about, and yet people still get things messed up. So you say all of these negative things about christians and yet you say Christians shouldn't be aloud to talk about love?

You have to understand that these so called "Christians" were a bunch of fakes. They were a bunch of charlatans. Furthermore, that was just the catholics, THere are other groups of true Christians, like Protestants. When have u seen Protestants carry on a mass murder such as the Catholics. If there was, it was on a fewer number than the Catholics.

yep it was a big mess. No different from modern pain at places like the killing fields in Cambodia, Daffur, Bosnia, Nagasaki.
The church is sinful but human failing doesnt compromise the holiness given to it by Christ. Saved sinners. A "chaste whore".

Ahhhh love...I have no trouble speaking of love. If I were to speak Love in your ear you would melt into a primordial puddle because of your condition. No, you shouldn't allow me to do it...not yet. But maybe sometime in the future? God is Love. It's not His fault that "christians" have done stupid and insane things in His Name. He has been badly represented by humanity. But He's not worried...He just lets things run their course, it weeds out the true from the false.
And to those who ask: "If He's so loving, why would He...?" It's because you have no concept of what "Holiness" is.

Yes, I still dont see what this has to do with people talking about love. Altough I dont like the fact that Christain push so hard for stranger's to join, or manipulate the truth for thier own goal.

Question - Were those things of God or Man? I would bet that they are of man. Man said that God stated the following.......God, never said anything as to kill another or destroy another society. Geeze, we as christians are asked to spread the good news and display love. Not to wipe out other people just because they do not believe....

I think you are confusing every person who calls themselves a christian with the Catholic church, which is not the case. Probably most people these days can really talk of love.

Not only Christian, but every human are allowed to talk about love. But the difference is the Love of God and selfish love. God love every one, even more to sinners as per the Bible. God love sinners, but hate sin. God love every one on earth whoever he is. God love is not a partiality, it is a open and frank love. The love of God is known as agape love. God's love is unconditional and undying love.
