I love waking up every morning knowing that I am needed. I love the way I feel when we are doing activities together, like feeding the geese, or playing at the park. I love knowing that it's up to me to keep them safe and secure. I wouldn't trade in being a parent for anything!

i love when my sweety wakes me up at 3:00 in the morning to cuddle (cat) lol im not a mom yet .... but hope to be sooner than later .but i do have one and she is the best we talk on the phone everyday my hubby makes fun of me, but i dont care we have free long distance!

Well, I'm going to be 39 in August and just had my daughter graduate from high school, it was the best day of my life. Even though I cried and cried, I felt so proud. I was so afraid she was going to move out but she didn't and we are closer than ever. I really feel that I did a good job raising her. We are so close people think we're sisters. But yet she knows when I'm serious,she listens to me. She knows she can come to me with anything, and I think thats the way it should be.

Hi, it seems like you already know. I'm not a parent, but I can't wait until I will be one. I'm looking forward to raising children who will grow up to be great people in their own way. A parents job is a big one and puts a lot of responsibility on the parent. That the child puts his full trust in you, and you mold him until he's old enough to form his own opinions. However, there is a great joy in knowing that your child is dependent on you and look up to you in every situation.

When my daughter was 3, she was afraid of monsters in her room, so we developed a ritual. When I put her to bed, I turned on her bedroom light, opened the closet door, all the drawers in her dresser, got on my knees and looked under the bed (and wherever else they might be hiding) and said, loudly, "Okay, monsters. This is my house and my sweetie's room. You are not authorized to be here, and I hereby order you to vacate the premises!"
She, now assured that there were no monsters, would go right to sleep.
You can't put a price tag on that.

ima kid and i love my mom :D i wouldnt trade her for any1 in the world. i will proudly tell her i love her even in front of friends cuz a kid that doesnt love their parents is just cold hearted... but to answer your question id say knowing the fact that they need you to live and that your the most important part of somebody's life and when they are younger your are their hero. and just knowing through all the little trouble they get into they will always love you and you will always love them.

Everything mentioned is all great! I love being a mommy. From the "I love you mom" to the "I want my daddy" when he is mad at me for saying "no" it is all wonderfull and I wouldn't change having kids for the world!

i love the fact of having a lil mini me that envys me to death that thinks I am the greatest thing since sliced bread. I love that I am recieving her unconditional love! That is so awsome about parenting!

Everything. When he looks at me, and I can see he knows that whatever he needs I can provide. His smile, his laugh. I can go on forever. but most of all...knowing that I created a little person who loves me just as much as I love them.

The best thing for me was finding out I don't have to divide my love between my wife and son...I found out having a son multiplied my love. Life is great!! :)

the way it feels like right at this moment when my boys are outside laughing, yelling and jumping in the water and making up games......all in the blow up pool I bought on clearance for $15 last fall. Nothing like seeing them happy (doing something that wont' get them in trouble. LOL)
