this guy that i like is really shy and i want him to think that i like him. we are having a 4th of july party. he hasnt given his number to me but i have it from a church directory. should i call him and invite him or would that be too weird? THANX BUNCHES!!

I think if you are inviting several people from the church you should invite him as well. If it would just be him he may feel uncomfortable. I don't think you should really press the issue of liking him. Just kind of include him in activities where you happen to be and make sure to make him a comfortable part of the group. If he is comfortable then he may warm up to asking you out.

GIRL please!! You better get that boy!! I learned that lesson the hard way already so of course i would love to help you out! I had a crush on a boy for the longest ( 2 years) and never said a word. all of my friends knew i was in love with this boy, but no one never said nothing. As time passed my feelings for him calm down until my 12th grade year. WE HAD A CLASS TOGETHER!! and guess what??? The teacher assigned us to sit right next to each other. So everyday i would see this boy and my feelings would grow deeper and deeper for him whether i had a boyfriend or not i still wanted this boy. So one day we were sitting in my car and i just blurted it out i couldn't take it anymore, I asked him out. He looked at me in total shock...he told me that he really liked me too. My jaw dropped! So don't wait for what you want because you never know until you try. Nothing beats a failure but a person who tries! remember that.
