Oh my goodness -- if you really want to know the answer, there are people here who can help, myself included. I'm so sorry some of the jerks here made you feel that way.

Take your time, honey, and ask the questions you need to ask.

Jesus is the Son of God, and the human child of the Virgin Mary and her husband Joseph, a carpenter. However, I don't think that any person can do justice to Jesus by trying to describe Him or Who He Is. I think that your best bet is to read the book of John. Most people can find exactly what they are looking for in that book. There are four Gospels that encompass the life of Jesus. Each Gospel (four different men writing their accountsof the life of Jesus based on their observations while following Him) details the life of Jesus from birth to death to resurrection. However, the most highly recommended of the four Gospels to read first is the Gospel of John, so I would start there and then read the other three (Matthew, Mark & Luke) if you still need any further insight. All four os the Gospels are in the New Testament; they are the first four books of the New Testament of the Bible.

Good luck, I hope this helps. Ask again if you have any more questions.

not sure what happened to you...sorry if people are jumping down your throat...religious zealotry knows no boundaries...

Jesus is a historical figure claimed to be the "Son of God" mythologized in various accounts of the "Holy Bible"....King James Version, Hebrew texts...whichever you prefer..they're all the same collection of fables...

try reading about Appolonius of Tiana..another prophet...claiming to be the son of god...crucified, resurrected...same deal...Jesus just had better marketing people...

Messiahs were a dime a dozen in those days...all with miracles attributed to them....I think they must have eaten a lot of moldy bread way back when...

Ever notice how God no longer speaks to us..or asks us to do things....where's the Angels of Death, killing the first born? Where's the big booming voice from the sky...demanding ritual sacrifice...?

I think God must have gotten DirectTV...

Jesus was the prophet for his age, just as Moses was for his and Muhamad was for his.

God sends new prophet with more information when mankind is ready. You would not teach calculus to 6 year olds but teaching it to 18 year olds does not make the basic facts and skills learned earlier wrong, it merely adds to them.

The prophet for this age is believed by the Bahai to be Bahalluah

Jesus is the Savior of the World, the Lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world.

It is our sins that seperated us from God and eternal happiness. Through Chirst's perfect offering of Himself at Calavary which harkens became to the passover lamb which freed the Isaerites from bondage in Egypt.

He is God incarnate (Latin for "in the flesh"). The only begotten Son of the Father.

"The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us."

He is the Word. Through Him all things were made.

" In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was with God in the beginning.

"Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made. 4In him was life, and that life was the light of men. The light shines in the darkness, but the darkness has not understood it."
