For our honeymoon we both want to spend 3-5 days on a sailing boat of some sort. Ideally we woud have a crew and the boat would be quite large.

I don't want a cruise boat full of people but just a sailing ship with about 50 person occupancy... has anyone been on one of these and where. Location doesn't bother us as long as it's hot!

Get a hold of Windjammer or Windstar. You might also try Crown Blue Line.

I'm not sure you can find a sailing boat with 50+ fare paying passengers.

Have you and your fiancee already been sailing, if not then it could be a bit of a problem (it might be worth while going sailing first to make sure both are happy sailing, sea sickness can be a real pain, and not a good idea if you want your honeymoon to be memorable for the right reasons)

I think some of the 'J' Boats do a per berth trip (Valsheda, Ranger, Endeavour are the names that come to mind).

you may be able to do a skippered charter, depends on budget, and availability. some of the flotilla holidays can do a skippered holiday, might be worth trying if you want a mixed holiday (say a bit of sailing and a more conventional lazing holiday). You could also contact some of the charter companies in the area you would like to cruise. Med is nice, but if the budget streatches try the Carribbean. a web search for skippered charters should get you going
