It is utterly mind boggling how in the face of absolute uncertainty people can spout off religious rhetoric and curse me for not believing it is truth. The truth is no one knows if there is a God or if their beliefs are correct. Anyone care to disagree with that. Just send me a message.

Suzanne: Thanks for proving my point. You Christians and Muslims are the absolute worst about this.

Religion is about belief. The way I see it if there is not God or Heaven or Hell and I die then no big deal. But if there is a God and Heaven and Hell and I don't believe in what the bible tells me then that is a big deal. I'd rather be safe than sorry. Not only that just because you can't see God don't mean he don't exist. I can't see the wind but I know it exists. Then you may say but you can feel the wind. And your right I can feel the wind even though I can't see it's there other than the trees blowing. But I can also feel God and his spirit. SO I know God is real. And I hope that you find him to be real as well. So it's not arrogant thinking it's positive believing.

How can one be so arrogant as to assert that their non-religious beliefs are the truth? It is utterly mind boggling how, in the face of absolute certainty provided within the Bible, people can spout off atheistic rhetoric and curse me for believing it is true. The truth is, Christians know there is a God and their beliefs are correct.

I do not think it is arrogance as much as the fact they have an undying belief that they are right. if they do not feel so strongly they usually do not get so worked up.
If they really read the Bible as they say they do or, lead people to think they do then they know they will go to hell for their actions.

As for the windbag Adamray any prediction will come true eventually every day things new happen people perceive ideas that will come to pass.
you can interpret the Bible to say what ever you want it to.
look at the whole 666 thing the whole 6th day 6 th month of the 06 year has came to Pass many times over they year 0006 0106 0206 0306etc etc etc 1006 etc etc 2006 and I am still here as are we all.
I can make a prediction and if given enough time it too will become an actual event.
In fact I see another civil war erupting in one of the greatest countries, it will end life as we know it.
that could bring a war that will cause great change in life style and that will be the truth because life as we know it will not be so any longer.
Heck life is not as it was back in Christs time and so dose that mean life as they knew it is gone from the face of the earth

I think Christian's often times may push to hard unintentionally

Have you ever been so excited, so passionate, so awed by something that you just wanted to tell everybody and anybody?

That is how so many Christians are. They realize that Jesus has saved them, that they can live a blessed life with a wondeful realtionship and that they always have someone to comfort and care for them. Also they know that when they die they have a purpose, somewhere wondeful to go.

So many Christians want to make people belive this is the truth, because they (as I do) feel that this is 100% the truth and they want to share this awesome feeling and all these free gifts with others.

But you are right, some Christians try to push their beliefs on other people to hard, or are not open-minded and will not listen back. Everyone should have a chance to share their opinions and be heard.

God Bless

Some people believe theirs is the only true path because to do otherwise would shatter what they have built their life around. Even entertaining the possibility that other spiritual paths or no religious path are valid would completely violate the structure of their belief. Many cannot handle direct questioning of their faith.

Truth is perceived on an individual level with personal bias intact. There is no absolute truth. Nothing at this time can be totally proven or disproved; we all choose belief systems that fit with us and make us more comfortable in our little worlds. Each person is entitled to their personal beliefs but should have respect for the beliefs and opinions of others even if they don't agree with it.

You know there is a God, just as sure as you know the next time you open your lungs to take oxegen in it will be replenished, and that when you expel, that toxic unused carbondioxide will come out of your body. Only a fool the bible says, say that there is no God. Just look around you, take the universe for example, The earth is so positioned that if it were to move just a fraction of a millimeter, we would be obliterated by the sun. Come on, their has to be a master designer, all this couldnt just be as a result of a big bang. Also God created each of us in His image and likeness, so therefore the truth is in each person, and therefore something spiritually should happen to you when confronted with the truth of God. it is my prayer that you would open your heart to the call of God. The bible says the day you hear the call of God, harden not your heart. Just know that at some point, if you keep denying God, your heart will grow hard and callous, and it will be virtually impossible for you to hear his voice anymore.
I'll pray for you...
God Bless

I will disagree with you on the point that we don't know there is a God. How do u explain how the universe came into being if you say big bang then where did the gasses come from? If you say man evolved from ape then why don't we see this still happening?

I will say they are wrong to curse you for your beliefs but I do think and beilieve you are wrong so say their is no God for you just have to look around and see nature and man.

I also believe if you study your bible you can know the truth and the truth can set us free.

Fear, confusion, misunderstanding, ignorance, and hate fill many of the minds of the devout -while they cling to the morals of love, peace, understanding, truth, etc. They may not realize that these traits appear when they interact with others, but they do. It's hard for them to point the lens at themselves, to truly reflect on their own behaviour and the way they interact with their fellow man. Perhaps they DO turn the lens on themselves, but they do not see what you and I see. They see a good, god-fearing person who is right about their beliefs in a god and the afterlife.

Arrogance, piety, sanctimonious attitudes, intolerance, self righteousness, pride, and hatred are bred from religion. If no one believes as they do, then the others are wrong -and if they do not change thier "wicked ways", they will be punished by an all-powerful being and sent to their rooms without cookies and milk... er, hell. Wouldn't you have those attitudes and character traits if you thought you knew all the answers?

I will not condemn you at all, bc! I understand you and agree with you.

For a long time, people KNEW that Black Holes didn't give off energy. The TRUTH was that Black Holes absorbed all that came their way. Stephen Hawking had to prove himself wrong on this matter because he was the only one smart enough to find the loophole in his theory. I'm not saying one religion (or maybe any) is the TRUTH. I'm just saying that reality and the truths we perceive are easily fooled by what we already KNOW blinding us to what might be possible.

We prove our truths with sight, sound, smell, taste, touch, and faith. The first five are susceptible to all sorts of distortion. Unfortunately, the sixth believes whatever it wants, or whatever it's been taught; with a tendency to disavow the other five on the slightest whim!

Who the hell in their free mind can believe in anything at all? Belief causes constraints, each belief a piece of a straightjacket until there are so many beliefs that one is confined to one place, and one path. Every belief closes the mind off to infinite possibilities otherwise. Belief is certainty in a universe of uncertainties. If we were meant to know everything, we would be animals acting on instinct rather than humans with complex minds.
