You can only control what she chews on, chewing is one of her needs now , like play and loving attention. Rawhide chips are great, beef bones, not pork or chicken- they splinter and harm your dog.You have a baby now and babies require baby-proofing the environment, Don't leave anything within reach that can fit into her mouth that you don't want chewed, The bitter apple spray is good to discourage wire, cable or furniture chewing. Shaking a can of coins or making a noise with a rolled up newspaper in your hand swatting the other hand can only go so far, you have to try different things to find what she loves and prefers to chew that is safe and good for her. A safe place to be when you are not home, playpen for dogs, dog run ,or doggy day care, or a good size kennel -type cage with water, food and chew-toys, for limited periods of time . Maybe your vet has suggestions..Enjoy your new friendship.

It's a puppy, so there's going to be chewing. You can buy "sour apple" stuff at the pet store that makes things taste bad, but even that may not do it. Put anything you don't want nibbled on our of reach and keep an eye on the puppy. Make sure the puppy has things it's okay to chew on (dog toys) and if you catch him eating other things tell him "no" very firmly and take it away.

First, keep the shoes out of reach, in a closet or something.

Second, puppies chew. They need to chew, so make sure she's got plenty of things she CAN chew on.

As far as the potty training, this will take time and patience. You should use crate training. Keep in mind they can't be left in the crate for very long at this age. The general rule is one hour for each month of age. So if you dog is 3 months old, she should only be left in her crate for 3 hours. 4 months 4 hours. And that is only when you are gone or can't keep your eyes on her. If you are home, show should be out interacting with you. Make sure to take her to the same "potty spot" every time you take her out to potty. Also, always go out the same door. If she has an accident don't get angry with her, instead- (this is going to sound crazy but it works) yell at the poop or pee, make sure she is there to see you doing it. Clean it up and take it out to her potty spot (take her out there with you) - set it down, and then tell it it's good. Also praise her once you are outside. This is how we house trained our dog. They folks at the humane society told us this method. It sounds weird but it works.

Spray Bitter Apple on it or get it a bone to chew on. Puppies get teeth in and lose baby teeth just like humans do, so it probably needs a good chew toy or bone

I trained my puppy at Petsmart. Classes were once weekly for an hour and it was nice because he also became used to having other dogs around. You can hire a trainer, try books or videos or search the internet, but whatever method you use, be consistent. Otherwise it won't work. as for housetraining, it can sometimes take a while because dogs, like people, have very small bladders as puppies.

The best way is to get some sour apple spray at your local pet store. It doesn't harm your dog it just tastes bitter to him and stops the chewing!

Buy some dogs toys. They chew on stuff because their teeth are coming out.

Most pet stores sell a spray that tastes bad to dogs/cats that you can put on stuff you do not want them to chew, well pretty much everything.

Buy him some dog treats or crackers and put away stuff from his mouth, tell him "Bad boy" or "do not do it" in loud but low tone of voice and hit him a little-little on the nose, make sure it doesn't hurt him. I had the same thing with my dog. You better teach her now, before its too late

Puppies chew .. just like human babies they are "teething" and it makes their poor gums feel better. They generally outgrow it (mostly). Try getting it used to a toy .. something plastic and a bit soft .. think babies teething ring.
