I think god created life and then made it evolve (Exept humans, i believe humans were also a creation of god). Think about it, why isn't everything evolved, because some sort of divine being chose to evolve certain creatures and not all of them.

Am I wrong?

yea I think that God created the universe and that he gave the ability to all his creatures to constantly better themselves... evoloution is only a natural part of life... when I was born, I was like 12 pounds or what not and now I am 6'3 and 180 lbs so obviously, I have evolved in terms of intelligence, size, and maturity since then...

Evoloution theory is very real... except that most people fail to realize that it never really says anything about monkeys turning into humans...

God created monkeys, and they turned into better monkeys.

God created humans, and they turned into better humans.

I mean, it's case closed to me but most people still argue one of the other.

I believe that God created everything on Earth, but I believe in evolution to a certain extent. Look at how humans have evolved from using rocks as hammers. I believe that as more time passed, God let humans grow smarter. I also believe Pangaea to the effect that when the Tower of Babel was being built and God made men speak in different tongues, God separated the once large land mass and made it into different continents.

I'm familiar with this line of thought but some aspects of it don't hold up all that well.

For instance the human knee is a rather poor design for a biped. It is much more suited for being a quadruped.

Human DNA sequences fit in rather nicely with the phylogenetic trees.

Also look at the fossil record. You don't have to go back all that far and you don't find any human remains. If all this stuff was co-created where are the human fossils?

If you REALLY want proof that it has to be EITHER Evolution or Creation. Check out the link. You have to choose. It wasn't a mixture of both. Once you read the attached document, you will have to choose between what the Bible says, and what some in the world would have you believe. Be careful what you choose. There are consequences.

I believe in a literal interpretation of the Bible, that God did create everything in 7 days as mentioned in Genesis, but some of my Christian friends believe in evolution. Wait 'til Judgement Day and they stand in front of God and God asks them why they believed that. It'll be pretty freakin hilarious.

but one question: if death is the result of sin, and if death is one of the main requirements for evolution...why would God use death for his creation? God hates sin
