Hell no. Hell, according to the Scripture was prepared by God for the devil and his angels. It was not prepared as a place of eternal torment for man. The gift of God to man, through Christ, is eternal life. In order to live eternally in Hell you would need to have the gift of eternal life.
A person who does not have the spirit of Christ brings only his religious understanding to another person. The Christian faith is a matter of life and not churches and acceptance of creeds. So, many people who have heard about Christ have never really had the opportunity to believe in Christ. I would worry more about the dead message preachers and teachers going to hell than I would about the people who could not buy into what they said.
Of course the loss of hell is more than most usurpers of the Word of God can take. These children of their father the devil can not bare the thought of hell without human company. Then there is the loss of fear among followers, the loss of money paid to avoid hell, the loss of demonic themes for master artists, the loss of motivation for a crusade or two. In short without hell the religious economy was, and is, shot to hell. These days the usurpers are seeking social services donations and tout environmental and solutions for their income. What a come down from the rack and the stake!
There is more to hell. Hell sometimes just means the grave. There is Sheol, Gehenna, Hinnom, the pit, Hades, etc. Plus there are semantic problems and few experts willing to speak. Then there is the living hell people experience today as they perish without knowledge. A hell on earth many are already in.

The bible declares that Jesus Christ is the way, the truth, and the life. And that no one can come to the father except through Christ Jesus. Jesus also said to Nicodemus that "except a man be born again, he cannot enter into the kingdom of god" and this being born again is basically accepting that Jesus is the Messiah (of which the some Jews do not believe) living holy lifestyles according to the bible, and treating others as you wold like to be treated among other things, then and only then will you enter heaven. There is just no other way to do it but by Christ Jesus.
Sorry no other easy method!!! It's simple Jesus Is the answer.

Jesus says this, "I am the way and the truth and the life - no one comes to the Father but through me."
There are many who put their whole weight of trust on the Works that they do. Some will say, that some like the jews or Buddhist or Ghandi or whoever - because they are good (in their own eyes) - will go to Heaven - but this is not what Jesus says.
God and His standards is what we will have to face one day - not what we may think is good or bad.
Jesus came to save the Lost, and if you are one who does not think they are lost (that you are a good person), then Jesus is not for you. Jesus came for those who know they need a Physician. Who know that they are spiritually sick and cannot heal themselves by what they can do.
The bible also says that the human heart is desparately wicked and if you compare the Human Heart to Gods then you will see that truth. If you compare it with another Human Heart you will think that yours is good.

I believe this is the correct way because Jesus is what separates the Christian faith from everything else. The demons in Hell believe in God so it doesn't matter if you just "believe" in God, but what matters is having that personal relationship with God and asking his forgiveness through his son. It's really confusing but sometimes when I feel distant from God the Father, I turn to his son and His words comfort me. So yes, I believe that the only way to Heaven is by accepting Christ.

The Scripture says,"But the fearful and unbelieving and the abominable and the murderers, and whoremongers and sorcerers and idolaters and all liars shall have their part in the lake with burneth with fire and brimstone which is the second death." Revelation 21:8 Nowhere do I find where it matters one way or another how "excellent" you are or what walk of life you come from! Your SINFUL NATURE condemns you to Hell, not your "lack of faith in the Christian religion."

Personally, I adhere to the idea that Jesus died once and for all to save the whole world.
Now, granted, there are a lot of times in the bible where it says faith is necessary. And I personally believe that having faith in Jesus Christ is the "right" way to go about one's life.
HOWEVER
I also believe:
1) in an all-loving, all-merciful God, who wants the best for every last one of his children,
2) that we have the right to use the free will that God so lovingly gave us, and
3) That no human truly understands the mind or God, and none of us are qualified to say whether any person is or isn't going to hell.
So I do not believe that one goes to hell for not believing.

You appear to have a limited knowledge of the Christian faith because it is not a belief of Christianity that all who do not believe in Christ go to hell. As a Catholic, I truly believe that the Catholic Church is the fullness of the faith but with that said, there are many who do not know the fullness of truth, and do not know Jesus Christ. God alone knows the state of a persons heart and soul and will judge each of us accordingly. I know that God loves and wills the salvation of every single one of His children and God will not condemn anyone simply based upon their religion or lack of it. God is a loving, just and merciful God, and He alone knows our hearts.

It is impossible to "interpret" the bible any way other than Jesus being the only way to salvation...since it is plainly stated over, and over and over. Most obviously in John 14:6, Jesus speaking, "I am the way, the truth and the life, no man comes to the Father but by me".
Salvation is not dependent on what you do.....there is no sliding scale for good works/bad works. Everyone, absolutely everyone, has sinned. Sin cannot enter heaven. How to resolve this? That is why Jesus died on a cross...He without sin bore the punishment for each of us. His blood washes away the sin of those who confess it, repent, and accept Him as savior.
Belief and faith in Jesus Christ gives one imputed righteousness. When you stand before God at judgment, God will not see your sin. He will see the righteousness of His son, in whom you have placed your faith.
Therefore, as Ephesians tells us "for it is by grace you are saved, through faith.....not by works, that any man should boast".

TWO RHELL COMES FROM THE HEBREW WORD SHOEL AND THE GREEK WORD HADES WHICH MEANS ((( THE GRAVE )))
THERE IS THE FIRST RESURRECTION FOR THOSE WHO KEEP GODS LAWS IN THIS LIFE AND A SECOND RESURRECTION FOR EVERYONE ELSE AFTER WE RIEGN ON THIS EARTH WITH CHRIST 1000 YEARS. DURING THE SECOND RESURRECTION ALL THOSE WHO DID NOT ACCEPT CHRIST IN THIS LIFE WILL BE GIVEN A CHANCE TO THEN. AND THERE WILL BE SOME EVEN THEN THAT WILL NOT ACCEPT CHRIST AND FOR THEM IS WHAT IS CALLED THE SECOND DEATH IN GEHENNA FIRE WHICH WILL BURN YOU TO ASH ALMOST INSTANTLY AND YOU WILL BE NONEXISTENT.
Re 20:4 And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.
Re 20:5 But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection.
Re 20:6 Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.
