I don't know what he is in Christian theology, but according to Islam, Jesus in none of that. He is prophet, but neither son or part of God. He has no biological father, but that does not make him a divine being. He is a man, nevertheless. More pure and dignified than us, but a man.
He brought some kind of messages (a religion) from the God to his kind, which is christianity. But christianity has been changed in time by man, and it became farther and farther from the mean of God. That's way God sent Mohammed, which is a man as well, to get it right again. That's what i believe.

Jesus is a part of the God head, God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. One God, three offices, He is Savior, Redeemer, and soon coming Kink, healer, deliverer, and the only perfect person to ever walk the face of the earth.

Jesus is the Anointed Son of God. God is a Spirit not flesh & Blood.
You should read about the Adoption of Son's in the Bible. John was Anointed before he was born in the womb. Jesus said no greater had ever been born to woman than John. Jesus was born to woman but Anointed of God. in order for Jesus to be anointed ,I think his Mother had to be Anointed also. but an interesting thought.

Look at the Nicene Creed:
We believe in one God the Father Almighty, Maker of heaven and earth, and of all things visible and invisible.
And in one Lord Jesus Christ, the only-begotten Son of God, begotten of the Father before all worlds, God of God, Light of Light, Very God of Very God, begotten, not made, being of one substance with the Father by whom all things were made; who for us men, and for our salvation, came down from heaven, and was incarnate by the Holy Spirit of the Virgin Mary, and was made man, and was crucified also for us under Pontius Pilate. He suffered and was buried, and the third day he rose again according to the Scriptures, and ascended into heaven, and sitteth on the right hand of the Father. And he shall come again with glory to judge both the quick and the dead, whose kingdom shall have no end.
And we believe in the Holy Spirit, the Lord and Giver of Life, who proceedeth from the Father and the Son, who with the Father and the Son together is worshipped and glorified, who spoke by the prophets. And we believe one holy catholic and apostolic Church. We acknowledge one baptism for the remission of sins. And we look for the resurrection of the dead, and the life of the world to come. Amen.

Jesus is God's spiritual and physical son (as opposed to the rest of us, who are only his spiritual children). But properly regarded, we are ALL a part of God.

the correct answer is :Jesus is an (or THE) incarnation of GOD
If you like a trivial comparation.
While you are playing Tomb Rider who acts(speek, jump) you or Lara Croft ? It is an extension of you or she is a separate entity ?
