Are you trying to make weight for wrestling? If not, you really shouldn't worry about a pound or two either way. Eating really fatty foods is bad for your heart and you'll only gain fat which you probably don't want. There are 8 pounds in a gallon of water - so if you drink one quart you should gain two pounds instantly. Be careful about drinking too much water without electrolytes - you can actually die from "water intoxication" or a condition known as hyponatremia.

And don't drink too much Gatorade if you're NOT sweating heavily - your blood pressure can go sky high from all the salt in it!

you couldent have not gained any weight and ate enough. how much do you eat on average? a normal dinner is 3 to 4 servings. a serving is about a handfull. people who have problems with gaining weight sometimes eat 6 to 7 servings AT ONE MEAL. you are just not eating enough. thats all.

Maybe you should try noodles. I gained weight when I ate a lot of noodles one summer. I don't really know if it was the noodles or if the weight was just natural.

Just eat healthy and exercise. Two pounds isn't a lot. Unless your metabolism is weird, you shouldn't have any trouble putting it on.
