No, there has never been a 'war' between Christians & Jews. When the Jews were driven from the Holy land in the first 2 centuries AD, that was done by the Romans, who were not yet a Christian Empire. They were driven from the Holy Land for defying Roman rule, and Christianity had no bearing on their expulsion.
Now, the Jews were repeatedly persecuted by the Christians, and this certainly had a great deal to do with Jesus, although there were other causes as well. For instance, almost all European nations expelled the Jews from their various kingdoms at one time or another prior to the Renaissance. While they SAID it was because the Jews were "Christ Killers", the real reason, in most cases, was money. Due to church prohibitions on Christians loaning money at interest, the role of banker fell to the Jews. All the kings of western Europe borrowed heavily, and when their debt got beyond their control (or belief), they simply expelled the Jews under the guise of 'piety'. This eased up after the Renaissance when rules against charging interest were relaxed, but that IS why you will find, to this day, most European Jews in Eastern Europe.
As for separation, that was a natural outcome of Christianitys "Christ Killer" rhetoric, and the fact that the early church, in the first few centuries after Christ, spent a lot more time prosletyzing among the Pagans, not the Jews, and the Jews strict rules of conduct put off the more easy-going pagans. They found they got more converts if they distanced themselves from the Jews, so that's what they did.

What war and separation between Christians and Jews are you talking about? Christians and Jews remain strong allies and hopefully always will. I would suggest you brush up on your history before your next remark.
By the way Jesus, Christians, and Jews should all be capitalized when you write it. Are you either Christian or Jew? If you are not, it seems like you are only trying to start something you know nothing about.
Jesus loves you.

Julia took the words right out of my mouth...Jesus came to bring a sword that was not for war but to cut through to the truth...One thing that people neglect is that Jesus was a Jew. The Jewish church was corrupt and he split off from it in an attempt to bring back the old ways that people had practiced way before him, back in the days where Abraham worshiped the God of the Old Testimate...After Jesus, the New Testimate was created and the Combination of the ideas in the Old Testimate and the New Testimate where called Christianity....Consequently, Christians are more like Jews than they will even readily admit to themselves....I repeat, Jesus was a Jew who wanted to reform the Jewish religion and make it as it had been before.... ;)

There are no clear-cut views of Jesus in Jewish teachings, esp., today. Jews are not preocupied with Jesus. What is important in Judaism are the teachings of the Talmud. It is people who create wars. Any excuse will do for attempting to seize land, power and money. Unfortunately, religion has often been used as a front for taking what belongs to others. Neither religion teaches that war is a acceptable method for deciding issues. Religion is a smokescreen for taking what belongs to someone else. Throughout history, the Jews have been used as scapegoats on which to blame the ills of society. Hitler knew this and used it to his advantage. People need to stand back and seek out the root causes of society's problems. And, of course, after weighing the evidence, think for themselves.

Well sure Jesus is what separates the Jewish people from the Christians,
Is he the main cause for war, nope, that would be people. We have been fighting each other since we had a large enough population to split into two groups. don't look for it to change.

No. if Jesus wasnt there, there would be someone else.
The whole Roman Empire was ripe for division. You can not put that many people under one rule, with little or no way to enforce law.
The Jewish priests were running the state, and continued to do so. Hence the USA and the seperation OF church and state. Our founding fathers saw the problems caused by letting one church run the government.

During the dark ages when the Christian Crusades were in progress
there were multitudes of Jews slaughtered men women and children in
the name of Christianity.(Roman Crusades). This is why there has been
a division in Jewish Christians and gentile Christians. The book Trail Of
Blood is a good source of history about that time.
The last one hundred years or so there has been some reconciliation..

No, Jesus was simply fulfilling the prophecy concerning Him that the Jews should have recognized. It was the Jews themselves in their disbelief who revolted against the early Christians and separated themselves from them.

Gentiles and Jews were at odds long before Jesus.
The first Christians were Jews and were persecuted by Jews and Gentiles.
As Gentiles came into the religion, unfortunately some of them brought the sin of antisemitism with them.
