Well buddy the best way to initiate sex...is to find out what's the best way to initiate it...I know that sounds circular but here goes. There should be no questions what buttons you need to push in order to initiate sex but the only way you'll know is by talking with the girl. Find out what turns her on, what gets her in the mood, and most importantly what environment she needs in order to stay in the mood. You can get her motor running but let that cell phone go off or a roommate bust into the apartment and watch how fast the waterworks dry up. I know it seems like a wierd answer but the only one who can answer that is the person you're trying to have sex with.
