Not in Europe, but it is still against the law for a minor to drink in the United States if you're under 21, unless accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Moderation is the key here ... a life of alcoholism will set you up for much emotional distress and financial difficulty. You're probably not an alcoholic yet, but it looks like you're taking the fast train in that direction. Take a good hard look at what you want to accomplish in life and where you'd like to be 20 years from now and decide if you can achieve your goals under the constant influence of alcohol.

Sounds like you need a meeting, an AA Meeting ! You know they have groups for underage drinkers and support groups in your city or town or at least a support line you can call ,check it out on line for where you live or check out the phone book and just talk to someone you never know ,you might not have a problem just because you drink unerage doesn't make you have a serious addiction, it just makes you a dumb teenager that will make many mistakes growing up ,we've all been there ,but if you drink everyday and alot then you may want to chat with someone , good luck kid ! be strong !

if you live in Europe, no, if you live in the United States it's a little young. I didn't start drinking until I was maybe 17-18. I mean, if you're getting drunk with your friends on the weekends, that isn't so bad. There's nothing like getting wasted with some good people. It's when you start drinking alone, and during school nights, that's when it is a bad thing. Just don't drink and drive. I would say wait until your Senior year in high school or until college. College is where it's at.

Is it wrong because it's against the law? Or is there some sort of ethical or moral code that you live by that says it's wrong? I'm not condoning the drinking of a 15 year old, but I can't judge because I've been drinking since I was 15 I'm 21 now, and I don't drink nearly as much as I used to.
So, again I ask, are you concerned that it's wrong because it's against the law? Or, is there a ethical or moral code that you live by that says 15 year olds cannot drink?

Though its hard to believe at this point, whatever you are doing to your body right now, will eventually rear its ugly head. Whether it be physical ( your children, your liver, your heart, cancer ) or mental ( self explanatory ), you will pay the price. Look at it this way, when you drink, get high, or however you get your high on, you are letting something else have control of your brain/body for as long as it running through your veins. Is that something you really want to happen. Isn't life complicated enough without letting something else external take over. And believe me, no matter what you think, it is in control of you, you are in no control.
And everything you say and do, you pay the consequences for.
If pain or heartache is overwhelming you, find another outlet. There are many. Running, boxing, making things, reading, screaming at the moon, sharing with others ( like on here ) the list goes on and on. Save your body and your brain, believe me, if you don't, you will so regret it, so regret it. Hugs hugs hugs

Well ,technically the drinking age it 21, but that has NO bearing when it comes to being an alcoholic. No matter what age you are, that is a major health problem. Alcohol will shut down every organ in your body eventually. It will just rot you from the inside out. Get some help !!!

Just because you drink, that does not make you an alcoholic. However, being 15 and drinking does qualify you for a couple of things.
An award for being stupid is one of them. Don't drink at 15. It is a dumb thing to do. Start wrecking your liver when you're older, not now while your organs are still growing.
A criminal record is another. An MIP goes on your criminal record and can affect your eligibility for scholarships, military service, and some jobs.

The fact that you posted this question indicates that your drinking concerns you. That alone is a good reason to stop.

Yes, it is illegal. And the younger age you begin drinking, the higher the liklihood you'll be a true alcoholic. Don't wait until it goes too far. Just try to go to a few meetings. You might be amazed at how life can be without alcohol. God Bless.
