Do you know their regiment?
If you know what regiment your relative fought with, their barracks and headquaters will have rosters of service-men and records, im sure if you got in touch with them, they would be of service
The British Legion will also help you trace your relatives, my dad traced his fathers military career with them, heir an excellent source of help:)

Drop by your local VFW and speak to the Service officer. Bring photocopies of everything that you have on them. Something with a social security number like a birth or death certificate would help allot.

Good luck.
