5x+8y=7 & 8x-5y=4

8y=-5x+7
y=(-5/8)*y +(7/8)

8x=5y+4
5y=8x-4
y=(8/5)x-(4/5)

y=(-5/8)*y +(7/8)
slope=m1= -5/8
y=(8/5)x-(4/5)
slope=m2=8/5
---They are perpendicular because
m1= - 1/m2
