Why has the candy lord of chocolate and good treats great and small forsaken us.

I dropped the M&Ms into my sweaty adolescent palm to put them to the test and sure enough, by the time the Ewoks were kicking Imperial ***, they melted in my hand. Could everything else I ever was told be a lie, too?

Yes. It was.

Remember the Desert Bars that came out during the first Gulf War? Those things didn't melt. But they tasted like @#$%, too.

Realistically though, if you don't live in Arizona during August or Iraq, and if you eat your M&Ms at a reasonable speed, they are virtually melt free. Don't hold them like they are robin eggs you must protect. They were designed for Allied soldiers to eat quickly so their hands wouldn't be sticky when fired their machine guns at Hitler's armies. The fact that they are causing you a slight nconvenience 60 years later, makes me wonder if you have too much time on your hands (as well as chocolate).

Anything pushed beyond its limitations usually breaks, becomes dangerous or a mess. Or becomes stronger. I forgive Hershey's this time for their slight M&M performance exaggeration, for I believe it makes me a better person to forgive the shortcomings of others. I do not forgive Reece's Pieces, however.

Because M&M is chocolate, it will melt in any liquid. That's why when you pop them in your mouth, the M&M will soak in you saliva, and melt. When you hold them in your hand, your sweat will make melt the M&M too.

Temperature in your mouth and hands can be pretty close, but
yeah, like the other guy said, they lied to us. Besides, this way
you'll have to go buy another product from something else they
probably make, like soap, etc.

BECAUSE M & M'S TRIED TO MAKE IT SEEM LIKE THEY WERE SO GOOD THAT THEY WON'T HAVE A CHANCE TO MELT IN OUR HANDS BECAUSE WE WILL EAT THEM SO FAST....HENCE THEY WILL MELT IN OUR MOUTHS AND NOT IN OUR HANDS....

Because M & M's have chocolate inside it, and chocolate melts.

unfotunately there's no physics behind it, chocolate melts from the heat, and are hands give off heat, therefore they melt..

If you hold them in your hand long enough, they will melt.
